At 16, I suffered from depression, back aches, shoulder aches and you name it. I just couldn’t be happy for more than a day or moments at a time. I started reading self-help books, taking workshops…anything to figure out how to feel joy.
A few years ago, everything clicked for me. I started looking at life differently and could use all the tools I had learned to pull myself out of a funk quickly; and I was ok being in a funk too. For the first time in my life, I feel peaceful with deep sense of gratitude no matter what is happening in my life.
If I can do this, so can you.
